Catamaran Sailing on "Free Spirit"
Full-day Sail to Cooper Island; View of The Baths on Virgin Gorda
After about a 2-hour sail we reach Cooper Island. After placing our lunch order, we head on out to snorkel ‘Cistern Rock’. Having worked up a good appetite, we enjoy a delicious lunch at the Cooper Island Beach Club. In the afternoon there is some leisure time that can be spent with a snooze in the hammock, a walk on the beach or by browsing the gift shop before we set sail again to make our way back to Virgin Gorda. On our return we sail along the unique enormous boulders lining the beach that make up the ‘BATHS’ where you can see the ‘Fat Virgin’ from the water.
Full-day Sail to ANEGADA - explore the only Atoll Reef Island in the BVI
This beautiful island, with it's unique geography, environment, flora and fauna, lies 16 miles North-East of Virgin Gorda and is protected by Horseshoe Reef, the 4th largest barrier reef in the world. Due to it's highest point reaching a mere 28 feet, it received the nickname of "Drowned Land". After a 2+ hour boat ride from the Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbor, we observe the ‘Roseate (pink) Flamingos’ at the salt ponds and drive through ‘The Settlement’. Once we reach the North Shore of the island, we snorkel and explore beautiful ‘Loblolly Bay’. A delicious lunch is served at ‘The Big Bamboo’ - which offers the best lobster and local dishes in the BVI. We wrap up the day with more snorkeling and swimming, (or a little hammock time under the seagrape trees) before heading back.
Full-day Sail to ‘The North Sound’ of Virgin Gorda
We set sail from St. Thomas Bay, outside Spanish Town, and head for the North Sound. Upon reaching this breathtaking Bay surrounded by a handful of smaller islands, we anchor in Oilnut Bay for our morning snorkel. Afterwards we head over to our lunch spot, ‘The Fat Virgin’. The setting of this restaurant is as unique as its cuisine, which is enjoyed in an open-air, casual atmosphere. The afternoon will be filled with a leisurely sail out of the North Sound. On the way back to Spanish Town we will stop either at Eustatia Reef or Mountain Point, depending on wind and seas, to snorkel and explore the magnificent underwater world. This trip offers calm, flat seas for those who are a little sensitive on the water.

Motor-Yacht Cruises

Full-day Cruise to NORMAN ISLAND - aka ‘Treasure Island’
Norman Island was the model for ROBERT LOUIS STEVENSON’s ‘Treasure Island’.
After having worked up an appetite, we head for a great lunch aboard the Pirate’s ship, ‘WILLY T’. This fun, floating restaurant offers great food and drink in a very unique setting, nestled in The Pirate's Bight on Norman Island. After lunch, it's over the ‘The Indians’ for a snorkel... one of the best spots in the BVI. Our last stop is the famous shipwreck, the ‘RMS RHONE’, a 310' steel steam-sail ship of the Royal Mail Steel Packet Company which got caught in a hurricane and sunk in October 1867 and lies in 25 and 85 feet of water (a huge explosion blew the ship into two pieces) on the South-West side of Salt Island. Voted Best Wreck in the Caribbean by dive magazines. Swim through the historic wreck and revel in this scuba diver's dream site, which was also the location chosen to film "The Deep".

Full-day Cruise to ANEGADA - explore the only Atoll Reef Island in the BVI
See our description under Full-day Sail to Anegada, above.
Full-day Cruise to JOST VAN DYKE
‘Diamond Reef’ at Great Camanoe is our first snorkeling stop before we head along the North Shore of Tortola to FOXY’S TABOO where we enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon we visit the famous bar ‘FOXY’s’ at GREAT HARBOUR before making our way back to Virgin Gorda. If lucky, we'll be entertained by Foxy himself strumming a tune to his improvised songs - tell him your story and he'll make up the lyrics on the fly. On our return trip, we may stop one more time to snorkel at ‘Monkey Point’ at Guana Island.
